SJSU ID Number
An SJSU ID number is assigned to all students beginning Fall 2003. To protect your privacy, this SJSU ID replaces the use of your Social Security Number for most SJSU
transactions. This number cannot be changed. Use it to access registration and grades as well as other functions and on forms as identified.

New students receive this information via the Office of the Registrar.
